Trout Steak Revival sells out Ivy Ballroom
Trout Steak Revival kicked off their winter tour with a sold-out show at the Surf Hotel’s Ivy Ballroom in Buena Vista Friday, Dec. 28. These award-winning musicians are no strangers to the Ark Valley, having recorded a music video in Buena Vista, performed at every Elevation Beer Co. anniversary celebration, played at local venues like Salida Cafe and The Lariat, and performed at local festivals, including Vertex and Campout for the Cause.
Attendees were not disappointed as this quintessential Colorado band had the crowd dancing, singing along and cheering for more at the end of the show.
Roundhouse Assembly brings The Dead to life at The Lariat
Local musicians Bruce Hayes, Chris Nasca, George Mossman and Aaron Robbins performed as Roundhouse Assembly Friday night, Nov. 9, at The Lariat in Buena Vista.
With an emphasis on the Grateful Dead songbook, Roundhouse Assembly has steadily laid claim to the title of Ark Valley supergroup with band members playing key roles in a number of local bands past and present, including Hayes, Epp and Bones; Nasca Cooper Duo; Ragged Mountain, Milo Hayes Meld; Mo’ Champipple and the Meso Horns; and The Groove Farmers.
